I get "The game for the selected Invitation Code was not found". What should I do?

This message means the game couldn't find a game matching the code you entered. Two things usually solve it:

Check the code carefully. Compare it with the code on your partner's screen, character by character. A single typo is enough for the game not to find it.
Make sure your versions are compatible. You can only join your partner when you both have compatible versions of the game. You'll find the version in the bottom right corner of the main menu: compare yours with your partner's, and if they're different, update the game on both devices to the latest version.
